Maine Welcomes Guests From CT, NJ, NY, NH, ME and VT

It’s going to be a quiet Fourth of July on Deer Isle this year, with the usual fireworks and parade replaced by more sedate celebrations – a decorating contest, Stonington miniature village lighting and of course the chance to relax and rest. As you can see in the photo, the Stonington harbormaster has jumped into the spirit with fresh holiday decorations.

But there’s good news this week. Visitors are now welcomed from New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York with no testing or quarantine. Of course, safe social distancing and masks are still in use, but with everything that’s going on in the nation today, a summer visit to Deer Isle in July and August has never been more inviting.

Why not take of this opportunity to book your Deer Isle Maine getaway today at one of our island accommodations?

And, of course, we welcome your continued support of any of our island businesses. Thank you.
